The map pack is a system, not luck
When someone searches botox near me or physical therapy in Tyler, three businesses get the map. Here is what actually decides which three, and how to become one of them.
Google is public about this. Local results rank on three things: relevance, how well your profile matches what was searched. Distance, how close you are to the searcher. And prominence, how well known and well reviewed your business is across the web.
You cannot move your building, so the work lives in relevance and prominence. Relevance is built by a complete profile that names every treatment you offer. Prominence is built by reviews, mentions, and a site that backs it all up.
A steady drip of recent reviews that mention specific treatments tells Google exactly what you should rank for, and tells the next customer everything else. Reply to all of them, good and bad. The complete asking system lives in how to get more Google reviews, and the bigger picture of how buyers move from the map to a booking is in how customers find and choose you online.
If customers come to you, show your address and rank around it. If you go to customers, hide the address and set a service area, but know that service area businesses generally rank strongest near their real base. Do not rent a mailbox across town to game the map. Google removes profiles for it, and losing a profile hurts far more than a weaker ranking.

Complete profile, right categories, every treatment listed, steady recent reviews, and a website that confirms it all. The map pack is earned across months of consistency, not unlocked by one trick.
The most specific primary category that describes your core business, then every honest secondary. Med spa beats spa, physical therapy clinic beats clinic. Specificity is relevance.
Yes, as a service area business with a hidden address, though you will generally rank strongest near your actual base. Never use a fake or borrowed address. Suspension costs more than any ranking gain.
Your highest value treatments should, because a dedicated page gives Google something to match against the search and gives buyers a place to land. Thin duplicates for every tiny variation hurt more than help.
