The structure behind the stand out

Emily leads strategy, systems, and operations at Flourish Marketing Agency, the machinery that makes consistent marketing actually happen.

From assistant principal to strategy and operations

Before Flourish, Emily was an assistant principal at a Title I school, showing up for kids and teachers who needed someone in their corner. Then life had other plans. She and her husband got the call at 10:00am: a birth mom in labor had chosen them. They drove five hours and arrived 20 minutes after their son was born. He's been theirs ever since.

She finished out one more year as an administrator, then left to stay home with her son and build something of her own: a business that would let her use the gifts she loved using as an administrator without missing her son's life to do it. Her ability to be present, available, and aware at home eventually led to an autism diagnosis, and a completely different picture of what present needed to look like. The business, and the flexibility that came with it, became a gift. It gave her the ability to be present for her family, her first ministry, while still having something that was hers.

She's a Texas Tech alumna, a Bravo fan always hooked on a new show, and loves a crisp Chick fil A Dr Pepper. She's a photographer on the side, dreams of writing a book one day, and feels most at home on a rainy October day with football on and a crockpot meal cooking.

Emily leads operations, strategy, and creative direction at Flourish, bringing the same instinct for showing up, for people and for family, to every brand she works with.

What Emily leads at Flourish

How she builds the structure behind a brand

Most marketing does not fail from bad ideas. It fails from no system: posting stops the week the business gets busy, and busy is every week. Emily builds the calendar, the checklists, and the rhythm that keep a brand showing up whether or not anyone feels inspired that day. Consistency is a system, not a personality trait.
