My name is Brenna! I'm the co founder and CEO of Flourish. (WOW that never gets old to say.) Before I carried that title I was known as Mrs. Barnhill to my second grade students. After 5 years I left my career of being an educator.
You would think that I left knowing that marketing had grown into a passion and I knew that it was what I wanted to do. But it was quite the opposite, online marketing and being a CEO was something that was never on my bingo card. Since I was a kid I always struggled with believing in my potential, that I was smart enough, capable, or good enough. Especially to do something as hard as owning a business.
But as cliche as it sounds I truly believe the Lord blessed me with Flourish because of my obedience and faith in Him to leave a career, totally trusting it was all going to work out. In that decision it has become so evident that I was always capable of being more than I ever gave myself credit for.
Aside from that I am a mom of two, fire wife and a type B, iced coffee addict, hot mess express that loves Jesus. I feel so incredibly blessed to work alongside business owners who I truly see myself in, people who are not just building a business but building a life that surpasses all expectation that they thought was possible.
Content is not decoration, it is the answer to a question a real customer is already asking. If a post does not teach something, prove something, or invite something, it does not ship. That filter is why Flourish clients get chosen instead of just seen.
